Back in the early days of Lockdown, Team Orange developed the “Out of the Box Series”; a variety of fun and interactive online team building activities that aimed to connect teams working remotely, helping to boost team spirit during a very difficult and uncertain time.

During these 40 – 60 minutes, team members are given the opportunity to step away from corporate deadlines and other work obligations to enjoy each other’s company in a virtual space. A lot can be said for sharing positive experiences and laughter while working towards common goals, and we believe that teams come out of these sessions feeling noticeably motivated and energized.

As promised, we’ve been hard at work creating some new and exciting online team builds to add to this fun series. This time with a focus on getting creative...  We firmly believe that tapping into our individual creative energies is crucial for a number of reasons.

While it may at times feel daunting to create something and share it with others, taking steps to consciously extend ourselves outside of our comfort zones by trying new things, teaches us that the risk of failure is nothing to fear, and in fact is all part of the process.  Once we understand this, our confidence in our abilities and our work grows.

Problem solving is not purely limited to logical, linear thinking.  By exercising the creative side of our brains, we’re encouraging ourselves to think “outside of the box”, and approach situations from all angles in both our personal and work lives. Learning this valuable skill helps us to better deal with any uncertainty life may throw at us, and adapt accordingly.

Gives a Sense of Achievement

Whether being creative comes naturally to you or not, there is a sense of achievement that comes with creating something yourself from start to finish. With our professional facilitators leading the way through the various steps, anyone and everyone can create something to be proud of.
